Goodbye life Goodbye death Goodbye to every old new thing I got left Goodbye profit Goodbye loss Goodbye to living easy at a cost Boredom the enemy of the new suburban century Lack of conflict making conflict necessary Trying to understand our own contention Trying to explain with words When words are just human invention The edge has been chiselled down to a very clean surface A generation blanketed, blindfolded from the reality of this place They got to get some action, rocks and blocks where hurled Their courage dies from carpet burns They join in packs, stage meaningless meaningful attacks A town the same as the next town The rain falls down as it always has The dogs will bark orders again and again The leaders will provide some harsher messages The prison walls will weep with innocent cries Democracy’s last stand The majority’s last hand The 99 point 9 percent You can have the point 1 that I got left Put it in your pocket for a rainy day Put it in your pocket because there’s taxes to pay Your kids will need it when they work for me Your kids will need it when you’re all history Sperari |

Is this an encouragement to be your own boss...they take out so many taxes and deductions and still the foolish Senators cry out for more taxes even while the President strives to throw a few peanuts back to us which the elephants will crush before they reach our hands. James |
