I lifted my face to the sky, eyes shut and rain running down my face like tears that I only wished I could cry. I stretched out my arms, palms upturned to welcome rain, and adding to my silent supplication- my unuttered prayer for a miracle. Dreams, like glass, lay shattered at my feet and hope... I had forgotten what hope was but you, you are my miracle, you are heaven’s answer to my prayers. You wiped the rain from my face and gave strength to my feeble hands as I worked to rebuild my dreams. You taught me hope, and all I have, all I can offer you, is love... I lift my face to the sky, eyes shut, arms outstretched, palms turned up toward the sun as I whisper a prayer for a miracle... that I could somehow be worthy of you. (I love you hon...  )Kielo I know only one thing, and that thing is that I know nothing. |
