~*~~*~~*~ The mind folds into black Attempts of light so flawlessly deceived To spiral down the funneled tomb Of what the heart has penned indelible For nothing else would be believed To come to rest in wanderings Unearthed of soul spills choked relent In disarray upon the crystal lay In diamond dust on sand lined sighs The mind folds into tranquil scent There visits what the soul has craved Freed from dungeons built and barred To spiral down the staircase These gentle tones of fragile tears The mind folds back to velvet starred Copyright Kkh 4/22/03 |
