Does the river run red with the fresh juice of red berries, Or with the red wine they didn't drink at the udult party, Or mabey it runs with the cherry cool-aid that the small 5 year old didn't finish, Or does the river run red with the blood spilt by the solders, The ones who are out there day after day hearing the screames of alies, Is it red from the solder, while half dead crawled to the river for one last drink, Is it red from the 19 year old boy or the 18 year old girl you share a gun to defend thier country, Why does the river run red? |
