The yearning heart knows not time, and but a single tide A perfect storm, unyielding dives that depths cannot confide Each hour endless and every moment drawn by breadth On high, a jewel of molten beats to seek uncertain depth The oceans wept of crimson tides unbound by silken flame Searched in sibilance of kindred echo, never once to claim In seeking to be full from shift to shapes in wonder comes In overflow upon the sacred shores the rush of water sums The yearning heart knows not of pride or china cups to fill A single sweeping wave restricts and pumps to fullest thrill Each blend of carnal waters subjugate of every primal shore On high, the sea’s sequential rise beseech an acquiescent floor Copyright Kkh 3/22/03 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (04-22-2003 11:50 AM).] |
