Diamond in Rough

Like a diamond in the rough, I'm dull
with sharp edges, and glow i not, till
you came into my life and polished
me till i became your thrill, Now I,m
sparkling and polished and a glow in
everyone's eyes, and you who found
me and put me in your pocket, and
with tedious polishing and cutting my
sharp edges, to a smooth finish you
now have me on the third finger from
your thumb and in your heart to stay.
