~*To Love Again*~ The past returns, to rid today Of loneliness in love's dismay Look deep within, for what to say One moment lost, too much to pay Verse etched on heart will sure convey Emotions ne'er have gone astray At last, a love need not delay God listened to a heart in pray And through the rain, was shone a ray Inspiring hope that love will stay Now and forever, come what may ~vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (04-13-2003 06:39 AM).] |

Vickey, So talented you are. Without even realizing the form, the poem is terrific. The two together, I'm very impressed. Enjoyed greatly. Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Ah, the hope that one will love again. Quite an acrostic! Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Vicky, I thought I had already replied to this, because I remember reading it when you first posted it. I've been trying to do one of these in rhyme the way you have here, and Lady it is very hard. That's probably why I forgot to reply before. I think I went right to the Poetry Workshop. Anyway, Marge mentioned it to me in her reply to my rictameter and I came to read it again. Now, I really know how hard this was. Hugs, Ethel |

Hey Vicky, I was so enthusiastic over the form that you wrote this in, I didn't even mention how happy I am for you (the content). So this is why Marge said you're "giddy"? Very, very good, sweet lady. Best wishes to you. Heart hugs, Ethel [This message has been edited by garysgirl (04-18-2003 09:25 PM).] |
