If I Should Fall To Pieces … ~*Marge Tindal*~ If I should fall to pieces would you place a little part of me in your pocket or perhaps in a locket of long-remember? Would you tuck a little piece of me in a corner of your heart to touch you on a December-In-Remember when the nights have chilled and frost lays on the lawn? Will you recall a tiny fragment of this friendship that has warmed you all year long? But, most of all … when the raindrops fall will you let me come in gently recalled flow to warm your heart? For if you do these things … then I will be with you for all of time … and longer nothing will take my memory from you~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
