im lost in my kitchen
i can't find the knives
i can't even find the switch
to turn on the light

is this even my house
why am i here
i can't even remember yesterday
so what's it matter if i'm around for another year

im 16 years old
and the world seems so small
i know that sounds cold
but whats worse is i don't even care at all

i give advice i can't take
its been days since ive ate
i know its supposed to get better
but right now i feel as though i can't wait

there has to be more
more than this world is willing to give me
maybe i'll find it on the other side
wherever that will be

but one thing is certain
I'm no special case
so don't take pity on me
in a week you won't remeber my face

*don't freak out this is from a bad time in my life that I'm hoping to get over through poetry I'm no longer suicidal
but this was how i felt at one point in my life (about a year ago in case you were wondering)*

another good one, chris.
you've got the talent, so if u continue writin, it is possible to work out the inner demons. all you'll have to do is work on it.
(that harder than it sounds, though...)

I'm still young, been through so much just like you probably have.. I understand.. Why else would we write if we didn't feel our emotions so strongly? I think it's a wonderful write, simply because it conveys all that most of us feel during times like those.. How everything can get so messed up that the reality fails us.. I loved it, thank you.

I am old and I have no real answers for you. I can only share two thoughts. Death waits for all of us; there is no need to hurry. And, the greatest likelihood is that the most important people for you, in this life, are people you have not yet met; some perhaps who have not even been born yet. You might want to stick around, just out of simple perverse curiosity. I hope you enjoy PIP.
