Wings of War

The wings of nations fly
Defy the once a friendly sky
The wings of nations soar
They roar their sounds with wings of war

The drone, it beats to ground
The sound of bombs they rumble, pound
God's name like trusted friend
The end of man to Him defend

The rights of men whose free
To be the likes of you and me
The cost of sons and you
The truly brave that pay our due

It's them and us and here
It's clear it's those oppressed with fear
The wings of nations soar
They roar their sounds with wings of war

(tears fall down my cheeks) So very sad but true, dearest friend, and our politicians here in the U.S wanted to wage war and believed they had found complete victory when they don't even realize the huge war happening here on domestic soil! (sad sigh) This is a powerful debut, sweet friend, there are no excuses to why we can't begin to look for peace, God Bless You! I checked my mail and very cool. Thank you. It's going to take some time to get used to the working of this forum but I like what I see thus far.

I look forward to offering my skills as a writer and critic of the same.
