She was the carolina sun laying languid on the beach-- she tanned evenly and turned revealing shell upon the shore... just the crust in waves of foam leaving her in your imprint she was the carolina sun and I was just a moon's caress grinning at the sky. |

OK...I don't often do this, but I'll explain this one. This was inspired by the memory of my late brother, who would sing "Going to Carolina In My Mind" to ME-- "Karen she's a silver sun just walk her way and watch her shine-- watch her watch the morning come..." So, She is the "me" he used to see in me. Sure do miss him. Thanks for reading, with hugs. |
