Ahead, your muscled arch strolls down the center path
At the access of creation, in canopy of gold and auburn bath
Staring fully captivated, by the beauty that surrounds you
Listening, your body tuned by posture leaned, in timeless want to

Positively striking, such artful lines at home, in nature’s arms
At lakeside sitting peacefully to watch the play of native charms
Staring, almost disbelieving, my heart climbs volumes high
Listening, to the wonder of your world, in a thin thought standing by

A glimpse to swallow hard endears a tear washed happy sound
Forgetting what has kept us, instead my eyes in joy abound
Staring, staring on into a mist of all that bounties in your smile
Listening, my body tuned by posture leaned into a timeless while

Ahead, you walk about my mind, placed in a dream designed
Ahead I tiptoe in my way among the fern and flower pined
Staring as I find you warm and well beside the water’s trepid still
Listening my way along, your song my heart’s reside and always will
