Note-This poem is about a friend of no relation to me but she has been there like my grandmother. She is dying of cancer and at the moment she is in a coma-she is said only to last a couple more days. Your losing your fight I am holding to tight But I don’t want to let go of you I don’t want to let you out of my sight and I don’t want you out of my grasp It scares me that I might never see you again I think you know this but I’ll say it again I love you You are my friend I don’t want you to have to face your end I cant stand the thought of not having you there To go visit you end upon end I cant lose you and I know you have to go I am holding to tight And now I’m being forced to let go Please god I’m holding on with all my might I guess I’m just holding on to tight I don’t know how it will feel after your gone I am dying in fright Your loss will kill me and others too We have to deal with losing you I have to let go My fingers are being ripped away I pray this wont be your last day How do I know your going to a better place? I want to believe but I just don’t know I have to have faith that’s what they all say But how can I have faith in God when he is taking you away? How can I have faith in a God who takes someone away who was like a saint? He should take me instead I wish I was the one lying in that bed I know I’m being selfish but I just cant deal I’m was holding too tight And now I have to face what’s real. |

eventually we will all have to let go of someone we love and care about as someday someone will have to the same for us... just being there and showing your love is the greatest gift you could give. I hope you can get through this and know you will be ok. M |

This is a great poem and when you're having doubts about faith just turn to yourself and beleive that you can have faith and you will, and look to God for your troubles He'll help you work everything out, and He will help you understand why people have their time to go and just pray for her everyday, but if you dont look to anyone, always look within youself and you may find greatness you've never seen before, good luck and God Bless, ~*~*brezee*~*~ |
