Stepping Stones When stepping on life’s stepping-stones Be careful you don’t break your bones For heaven is a far, far piece Especially to sign a lease It lies within a special place As fragile as mantilla lace A place of rainbows hew on hue Of butterflies and mornings dew Each stone goes up into the sky They flow forever to the eye Each one a pain each one a strain Each one a level and a plane The stepping stone a life in climb A mixture of the minds entwine It has no resting place to stay It’s a one on one each day. But do not make too much of one Until the paradox is done |

I saw the rise of stones to sky and thought I caught a glimpse of eye who winked at me with cheery grin inviting me to step right in... but slogged was I in clay of earth seems that I still have some birth of ideas to bring to others, see? So woe oh woe, I cannot flee...  Good morning, Sy!!! |
