Welcome to our loathsome jungle Where the bulls cry Welcome to our loathsome day Where creatures roam throughout the night One day we'll unite Our perception once divine We've forgotten the way there These lonesome streets have lost their identity Dont want us comming around no more The sleppy hills have fallen unconcious The sidewalks are all extinct Nothing is left but dead asphalt and sleet We miss you dear child We lament your divine memory We've chained our ancestors And hung them upside down Disected their posture And stripped them of all but being Try and forget these days Days of red tile drapery Try and forget these days And forget your life |

Wow, can't tell if it's about a fantasy world - or possibly a religous message. Either way, I love a poem that's a puzzle - it's quite enjoyable when a poem makes you think! good stuff -matt |
