Say you will cherish us until the end of time What we had still lives in our hearts Say you will surrender to our dream Let’s break the chains that keep us apart I keep moving up the corporate steps A perfect image I choose to play Leaving my heart, pushing back feelings My titles change along the way Telling myself my vision has altered When my heart persists to crack Tender moments kept in check Precious memories piercing back To strive and achieve the impossible My confidence, your love’s gift to me I would give it away in an instant If only in this lifetime we were meant to be |
