Falling drops
wet
Thunder claps at my ignorance
Mother sky crying
for no apparent reason.

Today
I am
Entranced in Karmic Christo-gnsotic isms
OM
MA
I chant to myself loudly inward
Om
attaining oneness
masochistic nirvana
while fumbling broken
crucifix
faintly remembering religion.

Breaking into
holy laughter
at the sight of my
self induced stigmata
painting the floor
paying penance to my
patron saint
Jackson Pollack.

OM
MA
Ah
in a short breath
I am
a man
yet a wayward child
at the feet of senile fathers.

Breathing
breathing slowly
tasting caustic air
bitter yet strangely familiar.

Remembering yesterday's sin
with sacremental checkbook
burning signed paper
incense
Allah, Yahweh, Shiva, Krishna, Ra
muttering muted curses
for dieties forgotten.

Stopping to drink the last drop
of last night's sake
before stepping outside.

Wind blows
breathe
walking wet
skipping
as rain falls
angels bowl
and gods cry

Rain washes, and rain also drowns.

Thank you.

Peace is the only battle worth waging.
