I’ll just wait to blink Until I can inhale My lungs have left me fragile… My heart has left me helpless. Energy is missing Like the smiles in my head. I’m lost inside your dream… It’s like I’m living while I’m dead. Its not so hard To sit alone, and stare Waiting, for a breath of air. Waiting for the sun To come and pick me up. I’ll just wait… Until I can inhale. And if I die…again… It won’t be so hard, To catch the wind And fill my lungs With sultry oxygen. - And so it was that time stood still - |
