Looking For A Teardrop To Hold
~*Marge Tindal*~

I’m looking for a teardrop to hold,
for I’m sure I heard one fall
from eye of friend … that welled within
until it could not be contained~

Traveled down cheek … in not-so-quiet weep
Heard by me, in agony, of what you’re going through
I stretch out my hand across this land …
I’m looking for a teardrop to hold~

*~My friend... I’m here~*

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

You hear, you look... Lady, you ARE compassion... and I know how much it means to have you there to catch the tears before the sounds of that first wrenching cry have stopped reverberating.

Just beautiful, Marge... but not as beautiful as its author. *S*
