Taking My Time

I couldn't help but notice that
she looked sexy in her jeans.
Maybe it was the way she was ignoring me.
Allowing me more time to admire her from afar.
Maybe it was because she was wearing her hair
in a different style and she was reminding me
of another lover from my past that could fit
so perfectly into my tonight.
Or maybe I was in one of those moods where I
wanted to take my time and let my feelings
decide where they wanted to go while I relaxed
and let my roaming eyes enjoy the show.
I seemed to be falling into one of those
moods where I love and adore to be ignored.
I finally decided I'd had enough and I was
mad as hell and I couldn't take it anymore.
Still when I got up and you ran over
to me and ask me if I was going home
and I told you that you looked sexy
tonight and you smiled at me and told me
you would call me I was pleased.

I enjoy reading your writings. I gain true insight of the male mind. I know that you are unique, but it makes me think that their might be a few more as romantic and thoughtful as you still left on the planet!
