Melancoly, metallic butterflies dancing on the windows of eternity forgotton from the minds of men as father time laughs at his own blindness in a well padded cell in the heart of destiny as tears stream from empty sockets down Death's solem brow cowebs collect on empty, rotting buildings as a fallen star is dipped in propane and caught ablaze to feel the pain of his fallen dark glory sun rises to an alien sky as unhuman voices join in silent chorus the infant shall lie with the savage beast when the dying goat bows his knee to the searing power of the blood stained lamb. Brad~ You've spilled the ink of deep poetic think~ 'Melancoly, metallic butterflies dancing on the windows of eternity' I could 'see' them~ I really could see them~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I prefer the "Light"er version of Eternity, but I can certainly appreciate your ability to portray the "Dark"er version. Peace, Love, & Light, EA |

Melancoly, metallic butterflies dancing on the windows of eternity ------------------------- as a fallen star is dipped in propane and caught ablaze to feel the pain of his fallen dark glory sun rises to an alien sky ------------------------- very unique and clever imagery. well done poet sir! Darkness cannot drive out darkness ... only light can do that. |

wow...I think I will mark this as my favorite of yours. This was incredible. Really, more than I can even voice. I sat here swearing you read Revelations LOL and then you confirmed it. Keep it up...maybe read Song of Solomon or something LOL Or David dancing in the streets...sheesh, just don't read Job! ;-)~ Failure isn't failure if a lesson from it is learned ~ KS |
