The Distance Between

Even though beyond the flowers,
I can see you in the fields
where once we met.

You silenced me with that first kiss
and there was no denying
the impression left upon me.

Each touch embraced a longing heart.
Each look pierced my thoughts,
changing my life's perception.

You caught me from falling into my past
and cancelled out those feelings of failure.

Even though I cannot see your presence
I can feel the memories,
and when day meets my night
I will know that the distance between
has begun its close.

I am always thinking about what ifs and my relationships with people.

There's always a cure for the distance between....sometimes it's hard to find but this preciuos poetry is a huge help
