With cool breezes blowing through my mane,
you shall find me running wild and free by the sea,
for that is where I need to be
to live in harmony with the sky,
underneath a canopy of brilliant stars,
the most golden sunlight warming me daily,
magical moon lighting my pathway by night,
sheltering my soul from earthly frights
that put my feet to freedom's flight,
restless mind seeking reguvenating rest
'neath billowing clouds covering azure skies,
drinking sweetest raindrops wet with
refreshing peacefulness.
Hoofbeats resounding in the sand
at the edge of land,
as close to openness as
this body can hope to be.
I run freely with the wind in my mane,
eyes looking forever upward to see
where my soul belongs.

This is absolutely stunning.  Truly a work of beauty.  I can not run like this.  Thank you for sharing it here.

icebox, just do it in your mind then

Sky, run with the wind (I know you already know how to do that)

EA, thanks! glad to help you soar today

I sense in this a search to be free.  I wonder what it is that makes you feel bound? However, your quest is wonderfully described.  Ken

Karen, thank you my dear soul sister

Ken, the lack of funds to go anywhere I want to go and do anything I want to do maybe? LOL, my daughter and I've been researching horseback riding vacations in Portugal, Ireland, and the Himalayas.

Julie, how nice to meet you! thanks for running free with me
