Amuck

Some times my feelings run amuck
And my mind and thoughts get stuck
A little like a doldrums sea
A time when I call out to thee.

And though I do not hear thy voice
I seem to have no other choice
For though I rant and rave and swear
Somehow I feel that you are there.

I’ve asked forgiveness in my rhymes
And cried to thee oh countless times
You have the patience of a saint
But your voice is still too faint.

You let me reign but oh the pain
I stand the abyss of insane
And black is black and white is white
And I can’t stand forever’s night.

I’d give you back what you gave me
For just a moments light to see

Morning Seymour!

Sometimes my feelings run amuck
Just like yours
But with some luck
They do calm down
As you will see
After banana muffins
With your tea ~

Hugs for another wonderful morning gift. Have a great day. Chris

Seymour, Things had better not run amuck today!
My youngest son is being married and I have over 60 people coming here to our home for the reception.
See how much you mean to me with your morning pearls of wisdom?
I just can't go one morning without reading my Sy guy!

Nancy,
And my granddaughter inlaw just graduated a doctor and I am invited to a party of also about 50 people. I wrote her a congratulation poem, I'll put it on the sight tomorrow.

and I the moth would love to run amuck in your poetic mind

this poem is cooler than a mere moth has words for, and so is the poet.

I think I hold the forum record for running the muck.

grin...

but this?

"You let me reign but oh the pain
I stand the abyss of insane
And black is black and white is white
And I can’t stand forever’s night."

I know you know I know...and I know you understood that too!

(smiles) I do think thoughts are meant to go amuck, maybe the muse even does that because she knows you can do better and it just takes time to imagine just what! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Some times my feelings run amuck
And my mind and thoughts get stuck
A little like a doldrums sea
A time when I call out to thee.

I know about those feelings running amuck.  You can't even get them to behave long enough to write them.  They are all over the place.  Then I seem to dive right into your doldrum sea.

Great write as always.  Your feelings spoke to mine this day.
