AS A POET

I guess we all have our own style
when we write about our feelings.
No one does it quite the same, when it's
affairs of the heart we're dealing.

I search my words from deep within.
My heart and soul struggles to speak.
But sometimes the words just won't come
to convey the message that I seek.

How can I tell you of my hurt and pain,
the agonizing that comes with heartbreak?
How can I tell you of the passion I feel
those restless nights when I lie awake?

How can I tell you 'I love you'
when there are no words to describe?
As a poet I sometimes I feel
as music would be without vibe.

But still I write about everything,
sometimes triumphtly, sometimes with strife.
It's my way of never having to let go
anything that has ever touched my life.

* That which gives light, must endure burning *

I feel with you, Kitty. Sometimes the right words just don't come - But you write them, anyway... Keep up the writing, and remember that the most important thing is to come from the heart.

Good Morning,
Whatever is left unsaid, is stirred in your reader by the emotion put forth in your works. Well done. TD

Hey all you Poets. I have no doubt that all of you at some point have struggled for the right words, just as I did with this writing.

And Sunshine...Sounds as if some of you may have missed me!
Hugs to you for caring! Ya know a rolling stone gathers no moss? That's me, but I always come back.Count on it !! ;-)

Kitty** - you don't have to try to tell of hurt and pain, I know it only to well also...
