~Tragedy of Comedy~ Comedy - the face you see Tragedy - reality Outwardly conveying glee Inwardly needing set free Mirror image mockingly Reflects the true identity One glance and it successfully Unveils a hidden mystery Time goes by and silently The role is played, though painfully Only rest from tragedy To don the mask of comedy ~vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (05-23-2003 12:51 AM).] |

Like tears of a clown, that aren't very funny~ Nicely put together.... makes my mirror image pale in comparison. But who is comparing!!! Thank you for this~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (05-23-2003 01:12 AM).] |

If we could see a little levity in everything, we might just avoid a bit of tragedy in our lives... Well penned, Vicky... |

(smiles) Oh Vicky, this is beautiful, sweet friend, I think the main folly is how too many seem to approach only the tragedy with a straight face and fail to think of how tangible comedy can be, as just because we see reality doesn't mean we can't distort it! (big hugggssssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Vicky, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |

There is, indeed, a flip side to everything. The yin and yang of it all! Warm hugs, Linda |

Vicky, I read this in near whisper to myself...I don't know why. I felt compelled to. It tripped off of my tongue as my mind absorbed the words. In my last breath an "ahhhhhhhh." I know this, I lived this. You did a wonderful job expressing this tragedy of comedy. BRAVO!!! Oh so superb!! Patricia |
