Isn’t it Amazing! some sort of lump of vegetation goes in and out with me it plucks and pulls at ebbs and lulls as far as eye can see there’s little things, accomplishments that few give notice to and I find myself thinking there’s much too much to do some vegetables grow prolificly like zucchini and such but I have only weeds and weeds that never lose their touch yet roses in their beds seem still to do their best at feeding aphids and my eyes their lovely colored nests it’s kind of funny, you know, my friend, the way my garden grows in spite of me, my two left knees those flowers bless my nose I trim the grass, yes, mow the lawn and pretend that all is right, most of the time I’m successful in going to sleep at night ©May 18, 2003 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. Yardwork is a quiet mood, serving up soul food. Yes, Virginia, we reap what we sow~ |

I like this a lot. It made me miss my gardens. Thank you for sharing it. |
