Winnowing

I wander by day and dream by night
Looking a way to winnow the right
To filter the draft and weed out the shaft
To stable the raft and silence the daft

But breezes will play and some will not stay
And the winnow will stop and shaft will not fray
This makes you recycle and do it again
A process that haunts the minds of most men

The seeds will be eaten placed in a cave
And some will be even placed in the grave
Records are kept by pen in a book
And some on stone to last and to look

But yet some shaft will stay with the seed
That makes for bloat and a little of greed
This is the winnow of constant allure
That always comes out a little impure

But this is the fare that holds up the sky
Take it away and we surely will die.

Winnowing? is that what wee minnows do?
or klepto young attractive movie stars on Rodeo Blvd? (or is that Winonaing?) Or when you had to mortgage the farm to buy the Winnebago?

I apologize Mr. Tabin, it was a short night.
Feel free to winnow the chaff from this reply and keep only the "enjoyed the read."

A minnow's winnowing thoughts...
small fry grown to shark size...
this and then some thoughts of more
are left behind in slow realize.

(sigh) Hey, we all need to learn to fly, don't we, so let's let the wind carry us off and watch the blessings drop like dandelion seeds and fruit the fields! (big hugggsssssss) Winnow on, winnow off, it's the new technique, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
