/pip/Forum7/HTML/000552.html Gold is where you find it... according to Ginger’s LL Bean, the hat that held so many golden offerings, to make one think and re-think of the meaning of Life itself. For each folded slip of paper held a writing challenge, as each day of life offers us living challenges. Some we meet head-on. Some we run from. The ultimate challenge is to give the best of ourselves each day. And this is exactly what Miss Ginger did. Read the challenges. Read the replies. Wipe your eyes. Perhaps the tears will wash away some of your fears, your own fears of rising to your personal challenges with dignity and grace each day, to allow you to discover the gold that lies within. Thank you Larry, and Ginger, for challenging me today. |

and these tears are needed more than ever, in the midst of these troubled times...what with the SARS virus, war and economic crisis, it's easy to despair and give up on living... the write was touching and timely |

Kacy, What a lovely tribute. Ginger would never have imagined how much difference she truly made. But the quality of her living has provided so much comfort to me through your write. Bless you dear friend. It's an A+ I'm sure. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Kacy, this is a wonderful poem in tribute to Larry and his Ginger. I could tell that he is pleased by his response and from what I've read about Ginger, she would be, too. You met the challenge very well, Kacy. I haven't done one yet, but am planning to. Hugs, Ethel |
