Papa I love you
In all your ways
Let me see the ladybug
You and I found today

Can we go sledding??
Out in the clean white snow
My wooden sled it is red
Down the hill we go

Today I ride my tricycle
Around and around I go
Circling the house outside
Singing songs I know

You watch me out the window
And wave and smile at me
This I love about you
As I go around and sing

Today we go to DisneyWorld
And ride fast through a mountain
It goes really fast through space
It was so much fun I thought

We went to visit Mommy
Wow I have a little brother
I thought he'd be a girl
Can I hold him please??

Sitting on the couch
I hold him in my lap
I in pink with a big cheesy grin
You aim and click

Daddy today I get a bike
You pick it out with me
We brought one home
A banana bike it be

You and I love ice cream Dad
To Dairy Queen we go
Mom gets a shake, and you get a cone
Me, I love butterscotch sundaes

I'm growing older every year
Childhood passing through
But, I love you Dad
For I am still your little girl

You've seen me through a lot
School plays you came to see
And graduate I did too
Both you captured on video

Hey Dad I start college soon
I am so excited
Because I hope to be a teacher
I hope I finish soon

This weekend we go to Hope
To dig and play in the dirt
A ride or two, 4 wheeling we go
My younger brother he's there too

We sit by the fire
I talk and talk and talk
You say a lot of interesting things
I learn from you so much

It's so quiet and peaceful
Except for brother teasing me
Watching this fire with you
Lets roast a marshmallow or two

These days you let me know
What you want for me
My boyfriend is a dork
You say, "I'll take him mining"

Some time has gone by
Still in college plugging away
I hope to be a teacher
Someday maybe

Dad you drive me to work
Sometimes from school
For in the winter
It gets soo dang cold

Wow I met this great guy today
He works with me Dad
I just know you'll love him
For he's nice and sweet

It is so strange
But I decided today
That this is the time
I will be moving away

I talked about it so long
I will be going to Oregon
As I said a few years ago
Give me a hug Dad I will be ok

In all of my life
You have been my Dad
Through highs and lows
You love me so

It's funny how you tease me
I tell everyone it's cuz you love me
For I let them know if you ignore
They best stay away for you don't like them

This day I write you Dad
And tell you how I feel
Hugs and kisses I send
Without you it would be unreal
I love you so much and always will

what a terrific write about your childhodd to lady thoughts about your dad.

my eyes tear as i read it,  for me i lost my daughter and her thoughts of me were much as yours for your dad.

thanks for taking me back for a while to remmeber her. heres one i wrote for her.

Remembrances Cherished

I remember her bubbly ways,
Her smiles and laughs always
cheered my heart.
As her smiling eyes met mine
my heart would laugh.
She always had a way of making
my darkest days brighter.
She was my inspiration in life.
With her, in my life, I was complete.
Now that she has left, my heart
is empty and no longer has
laughter and joy.
Inspiration has left me naked.
My days are dark as nights.
My eyes flood with tears of sadness
where before, there were tears of gladness.
All that's left are memories of her and
this I will cherish, until my time.

It matters not how you answer, It matters only that i hear you.

Impossible to read this without feeling a warm glow inside. Your sincerity in these words you have written shines brightly, Bridgette, and touches anyone who reads it, I am sure. You have made my heart smile with this....
