suffering, from chromatic aberration |

Suffering from chromatic aberration, bouncing wavelengths of light off dark, a rainbow spectrum in disarray, day fading to night, blended non-synchronicity, frightening duplicity. I cover my eyes and look away from the darkness that surrounds me every waking day and sleepless night. I've lost my magic flashlight too many times. From now on, I will keep it in my shirt pocket closer to my heart, to guide and lighten my perilous pathway past the tombs with outstretched hands, souls reaching out with pleading eyes, begging for truthful answers, not more layers of falsehoods and disguise. But the only answer I have is the one my mind's heart was born with from love's sweetest acts of passion. Only unfettered love and unbridled compassion yield enough bright light to guide a heart home safely each day and night, and shield one's soul from chromatic aberration. * [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (05-17-2003 12:11 PM).] |

Well done. Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn. |

Oh dear, we had to look up two words! Our fault, not yours, very clever, all the words fit into place. If I am silent, it is because I am thinking, if I do not talk, please do not think I am rude. |

I love the line "past the tombs with outstretched hands" Your poem has fabulous imagery, and I like how you wove in the physics so smoothly. I suck at physics but enjoyed this poem, so that's definately a compliment. Keep up the fantabulous work |
