CANNIBAL BEWARE There you see me On the ground Lifeless, freshly dead But making sure Before you feast You bash me on the head Hovering over me Sizing me up Planning where to start You say to yourself I’ll eat your fingers one by one And finish with your heart But before you dine There are things you should know Before you dig right in There are parts of me You should not eat Parts marinated in sin To be continued.... |

A brilliant beginning... An interesting marinade, sin... One part ignorance, one part bliss, one part remorse. Will stop back for the conclusion. TD |

Suddenly, I'm not the least bit hungry. A good write, Joe! You've found out how to put the world on a diet! |

The last line made this poem laugh, is there a place on "Passions Poetry" for comic verse? Can't wait to read more, will have to look out for your name. |
