Beside the road that winds through hills and wood, Was a fruit stand that to my eyes looked good, I parked my car beside the rustic stand, To see what fresh produce there was at hand. The spring was almost gone on this warm day And was chance had brought me along this way. I heard the roar of a fine tuned engine Glanced to see a car with lady within. Stopping at the stand was a dream vision Sparkling hazel eyes and wavy blonde hair, Capturing my thoughts she surveyed the stand, Enthralled by beauty I could only but stare. She smiled soft at me and to my surprise Spoke as we looked into each others eyes. I don’t know what words I managed to say, Pleasantries as she looked at the stand, Talking about niceties of the day; She left in her Vette with apple in hand I watched after her as she drove away Lovely dream in the middle of my day. Thank you, Nan, Perhaps a touch anti, but he still didn't get the girl. I'll have to write a follow up poem and see how it goes. Gloom |

Well I like it. And I like how it flows together, too. Good job. I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so. |

Thank you, Nightshade, With beautiful ladies, at least to me, it’s always a dream, But I do plan on writing a poem to continue this story, Glad you enjoyed this part of the story. Gloom |
