I couldn't give you anymore From what was there All that was said All that was shared All that was given All that I had to offer It was all left there At your footsteps For you to accept Or for you to reject I showed you my soul in tears Showed you my heart in touches Showed you the pain through my eyes Showed you defeat in forgiveness But it was left at your footsteps Rejection But I restore my soul through tears Restore my heart through God's touch Conceal my pain through the sun Abandon my defeat and forgive love I'm glad cause now I believe You didn't deserve anymore ~A touch of Sweetness . . . . . A lifetime of Serenity~ |
