“MYSTIFYING GREEN EYES”

Eyes the color of emeralds staring into blue,
melt into mine with a delicate greenish hue,
they capture all of my essence inside and out,
I’m totally mesmerized, and there is no doubt…

Two that hypnotize, drawing me only closer,
my thoughts deepen, as you become the abductor,
they speak to me to touch, for I’m in your trance,
under your control, and all it took was one glance…

Green and blue compelling, an attractive combination,
desires abound within, as softer yet they become,
and when the colors meet strange things ensue,
same as a witch conjuring up her magical brew…

You are my weakness, and you have possessed me,
your eyes enter my being to capture affectionately,
when you look into my depths my passion amplifies,
for it’s only you I desire, your delights, your magic,
your mystifying green eyes…

Bill,

There ya go. You don't fail to deliver for those of us with green eyes which sometimes turn slightly blue, depending on clothing and/or even sky sometimes and especially mood.. This is beautiful, as was the blue-eyed one.

Better get ready for those brown-eyed beauties, cause now they are going to really feel left out.

I love your romantic poetry. You write it so well.
