In the failing daylight
  hours within hours
the wait of coming night
  shares its powers
Said to heal the living
  forgotten not
memories are giving
  where dreams are brought
And among such these dreams
  weakingly strong
in their essence it seems
  like words to song
Thoughts of you fill each note
  ... I strain to hear
for what daylight has wrote
  the night makes clear
In your heart ever deep
  safe and hidden
lays a love sound of sleep
  not forbidden
And if by kiss of night
  it shall awake
let my lips press so, tight
  my dream's keepsake
In the break of daylight
  hours within hours
let the essence of night
  dream upon our's
