Missing You My life feels so empty I don’t know what to do When you are not near me When I’m not holding you I yearn to feel your heat rise To touch your silky hair To look into your blue eyes And smell you in the air I dream of taking a long walk Under a canopy of trees Or just sit and talk Surrounded by a cool sea breeze For now I will play solitaire With your picture on my mind Imagine what today you will wear And wonder why time is so unkind |

Sometimes separation makes for good poetry. I enjoyed this one. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

You wrote this very well. There is a purposeful conclusion to this yearning...we don't always see it right away... TD |
