~*~ Now leaving POINT "A" Two steps forward, And one foot back (up one step!) Three steps forward, And two steps back (up another step!) Four steps forward, And two steps back (still up two more steps!) Five steps forward, And two steps back (up another 3 !!!) 1+1+2+3 = 7 net steps forward! Ethel ~ Not exactly what you'd call beautiful poetry! LOL So often in life, we get frustrated when we seem to be making some progress in something, and then things go wrong and we slip back. But if we stick with something, we'll eventually get it done--or arrive at our desired destination. Never give up! I truly believe that!  May you accomplish all that you set out to do! Marti ~ I'm a firm believer in never giving up on your dreams. I have accomplished a fair bit in my life so far, and it is because I plod onward--despite the road blocks that could hinder my progress. I either work through them--or around them!--but I never give up! Onward and upward! This is not exactly a pretty poem, but I wanted to convey my thoughts in a simple and straight forward manner. This philosophy really works for me! May you stay the course and never give up on what you want out of life! Huggums, Linda |

Linda, This is great! Such positive thinking, and though I didn't add them up this is exactly what I was explaining to a grandson (ADHD) and additional recent trauma, May I print it out for him I love this...oh darn batteries.. can't say all I ANt hanks you.... Pat  |

And I am never ashamed to turn back a step sometimes, for I believe it is a great learning experience and I want to be able to savor some of the colors along the way for more than one glimpse!
