Writing verses that define you provoking thoughts to scale timid instrumental movements in perfect balance plays. Shifting to the rhythm beats a temperamental heart worth every dance we step slipping and swaying as we slide. Missing notes and losing count measured somewhere in the same fades and equalizes into my chorus, and refrain. I've sung to you my words but I've never held a tune spinning the turntable of my heart skipping beats is where I play you. A song of long ago takes me back in time to rhyme for in your voice I found my own in verses that define you. Awakened by the sound~ ~*~ ~reposted and revised, maybe~? |

Bluesie, You're making me feel like maybe I could dance that dance! Awesome... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Dear Larry~ As much as I want to be a part of it all, I know that you know the words don't come easy for me...you would think I would learn to keep dates and save my poetry in a proper manner. I've lost a lot of what I've written over the years, but that isn't what matters to me most, it's the time and frame, and sometimes I don't care to reflect on my state of mind. Not sure if that makes sense. I am forever grateful to you for reading me. Warm hugs to you my dear poet friend~ Icebox~ I'm glad it made you drag out some memories. I am a big oldies but goodies fan~ I could go on and on, and sing it aloud, but I'll spare you! Thank you so much for reading me~ Martie~ We are all composers, whether it be in poetry, or in the feelings we keep. I appreciate you listening and for all the kindness you've shown to me. QJ~It's alawys nice to see you and to read your poetry~ Thank you~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (05-14-2003 01:45 AM).] |

I like to think I've always got a song in my heart, it's how it plays out that throws me sometimes....Ed, thank you. Love is a song, a sleepy dream, a slow dance love is finding that balance. *cha, cha, cha* Thank you Elan for your thoughtful reply. |
