Nighttime With An Attitude Dusk didn't fall easily over my shoulders at all Still I'm in long remembrance of a vital rain It simply was a matter of the wind and when it would blow And, with no hero among us to solemnly claim... It is clearly nighttime with an attitude for sure Out numbered by storms just waiting to meet Engraved in the deepest of heart I captured real life And, I crawled desperately to rest upon mercy's seat... Quite lost in the words and into soul knee high Grace wasn't able to leave an impression behind I wanted to sleep with history and forget the truth But, nighttime with an attitude was effortless to find... Pieces chip off from a once upon a solid moment So, I clutched to whatever remains I could hold A concrete stare to an attempt of a wish being made While nighttime with an attitude brings bitter cold... I resemble dust in the breeze never a destination found For once, I wish I didn't know, first hand, hard ground Open palms for release of what might have been So, I engrave nighttime with an attitude for my friend... Sweetness by passed such angry years Oh, I saw it, Baby Girl, in your tears All I could do was extend my hand to you Know this nighttime with an attitude I feel, too... Sauni  The Only Time I See The Sun Is When I'm Within That Vanilla Breeze.The Only Time I'm One With The Sun Is When He Shelters Me From The Rain.
