The night is dark and heavy like a deep black hole covering the soldiers who have been levied With the battle location unknown I pray for my soldier's survival hoping my forever is not spent alone These drops from my eyes burn through my skin straight to the heart but will not create my demise Hope for later days when my soldier will come home and show his affection in many ways Wonder of his whereabouts and adapted living enclosed in wretched hideouts He must know the pain of want and how I love him so --For everyone waiting for their soldier to return |

Oh, this one really hurts. I pray for all the troops. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. Hugs, Ethel |
