What the mirror tells When the surface will not show the depths inside As if the glass were wishing wells With everything not known or hidden in collide The being of me accolades In differences that certainly are not a normal find But I see deeper escapades While others seem to think they know my mind While taught and brought together In the gift of surface calm A soul of seas transcends the weather When small degrees disarm the storm Then all of how too temperate Unlikely, for the mold was broken on release A child’s eyes, yet woman in the temperament While small the candle inside burns in peace What’s most unlikely breathes The push and pull of grand surprise A searching on the inside seethes With but the vision to surmise Copyright Kkh 5/8/03 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (05-08-2003 07:41 PM).] |

The mere sounds of the words you compose together, sound like a symphony... The addition of their meanings, balances genius with beauty... Your poetry, you, are to be held in awe! Richy [This message has been edited by Richy (05-08-2003 07:14 PM).] |

Muddy waters run deep....so do images in our mirror.... this is surely a fine example of "This Diamond" that graces our eyes with her beautiful poetic expression of her innerself and all of her that we admire.. |

Kathleen, Richy just said to you what I've been unable to say so perfectly all this time. This poem is so special; it honestly is awesome. Hugs, Pat ![]() |

ThisDiamond - I'm not sure why, but this is a little different from what I've read of yours. I like the way it reads... BC |
