She Said............Hello It was an incredible first word a beginning and a promise blended into a breath becoming a given pledge the creation of paradise on earth a coming home a warmth an opening invitation to forever the creation of paradise on earth and like the sound of angels wings like spirits of old welcoming new a pronouncement of the heart pressed soft to the ear of the receiver the creation of paradise on earth all she bestowed was the whisper of eternal sun a sanctuary for the soul endless journeys into night promises never to be forgotten it was an incredible first word |

From a simple hello comes all this...yes I know it's true...I heard "Hello" from someone very special and it changed my life...for the good I might add...thanks for the reminder, Karilea.. believe in what your heart feels... |

When I first read this poem, I thought it was about a child's first words... I surely missed the intended message... It is so true though... How many times have we not kept in touch with someone simply because, for whatever reason, we didn't have the courage to call them? And as the years go by... the distance just gets longer and longer... Yes... along with the words... "I Love You", "I'm Sorry", and "I Believe In You"... Karilea, In this writing, I think you speak of the first word you spoke to me here at PIP. All your encouragement and lovely words since have been such an inspiration.
