Staring gently into a blinding moon, I know somewhere it shines upon you caring not that we're apart; to keep what fragile hold I have on sanity, I must believe you feel the molten silver glare and share a common thought. The Anasazi believed when people touched, a phantom silver thread connected them throughout eternity, and freed them from the need to touch again to feel each other's presence in the heart. ©2003 by icebox |
