Swelling victories painted soft against the rain Innate, the flower of the spring to leaf so sure again With such impatience, would a woman stand to be? For there is something similar that must reside in me Watchfully, each fluid wish seems pale and calm And if I swallow them, would fuel ignite the coming storm? With such predictions that seem bleak and out of reach From inner gardens will the sun of day beseech? Candidly, in former blooms auspicious times refrain Swelling victories painted ever softly in the rain With such impatience in the past, and such in deep abide What could a woman yet become, from buds that leave inside?
