Sunlight piercing through the clouds Shining down on me God has opened up my eyes To things I never thought I'd see. Remembering days of long ago And times when I was there In places where I had to be To pray a heartfelt prayer. I put my faith and trust in God Who'll never steer me wrong He's shown me what I need to do And given me my song. There is a reason for this all It isn't always clear But remembering His reasons Takes away my fear. I know that I've helped oters Who need for me to pray For them, and they are in my thoughts Every passing day. God will help me through these times The bad and also good Until my life is figured out And I'll be in the place I should. ~Elizabeth 5-6-03 Waited on a line of greens and blues, just to be the next to be with you.. |
