Web and Ebb Time has caught me in its web And now my flood has turned full ebb. Memories full of prim and clean Have turned into a dusty lean. And where the sun did offer light It now dips down and offers night I only see moons lantern glow Reflections of a time of grow. And in the moonlight I can see The flood that carries prodigy Past the hosts of leaving ghosts Full of roar and promised boasts Familiar are the songs it sings Familiar are the boasts it brings Familiar is the flood of tide Familiar is the earths abide. I wish you well new seeds of spring I’m sure each life will seed a king. |

Yep, I know a Web and Ebb, a couple of brothers farming down on the Ninnescah. Saw 'em out plantin' just the other day. Good day to you Mr. Tabin. Enjoyed the poem. (please ignore the intro, it often takes a bit for the brain cells to re-engage every morning) |

When I read the title I thought you'd written about a couple of hillbillies called Webb and Ebb.....But you're way too classy a poet as this poem bespeaks of you.....excellent stuff! Eric |
