Dear Mrs Robinson Dear Mrs Robinson, I'm sorry for your loss, Your son was killed today. Following orders from his boss He joined us in the front line, And was shot by friendly fire. But for the sacrifice he made, our respect for him is higher Than it was when he first joined, So young, strong and willing To give his life for home and country, To save his people by killing Other young and innocent men Who have no other choice. With a leader like their own, They've lost their right to voice Their own opinions. But Your son was brave and strong. He knew his country needed him, And fought for it all along. So thank you Mrs Robinson For giving us your kid. Now we can all live in peace, Although he never did Kill me tonight and I will love again |

"Now we can all live in peace although he never did." This speaks of the price that many have paid to enable others to enjoy times of peace. Many want to believe that freedom is free. James |
