My Favorite Place

when life gets hard,
And I need a rest,
I go to my special place.
To forget my stress.
This place is beautiful and safe.
No one can harm me with grandfather tree,
Watching over me.
Alone I sit and stare at the sky,
With nothing to do but watch the clouds go by.
Listening to the animals.
For once I’m at peace,
Out here alone,
As the wind blows by,
And the stars being to appear in the sky.
I sit here warm and happy
Just me, myself and I.
