I think
you don't realize
how special you really are,
how exceptional you can be
when you are just yourself
and not worrying about
what you have to offer.

You are advantaged in many ways,
some beyond your years.
If you could see through
the window of your heart,
as I have on occassion
you would realize the depth
that repeats when one looks
into your eyes.

The chances are there,
holes to be filled,
moments to celebrate,
life in each day of me...
I tell myself this,
knowing, that on the other side
of this mirror,
between the corridors
of my past,
there is a collage of happiness,
waiting to be framed.
